A very apt illustration... It takes great boldness to stand up to a dog the way you did! I'm not sure I'm capable of such feat sef... At least thank God I can outrun one! Lol

But yes, in fearing, God is the only one worthy of our fear, not the devil, not life's challenges. Just him!

This is an amazing piece, well articulated.

Let me just confess that I didn't see that coming, I never imagined how fear of dog would translate into fear of God..that's quite a plot twist....kudos!

Nice piece Patience. Now about that dog, what if you had carried a big stick as a weapon, i tell you Patience, the dog 🐶 would have been more scared and he would have fled. Holding a weapon strong, can give you extra courage to conquer your fear. If you are a Christian let the Bible be your weapon, if you are not well always hold your weapon strong 💪 in life... Great Work Patience. #Prezi TV

Haha, someone even suggested throwing sand at the dog, but I never thought of any of these because the situation was really tensed. Now I know how better to handle similar situations in the future.

Hmm, knowing the right weapon to use at the moment also matters.

I really appreciate! #Prezi TV

Awesome write-up. Fear is a crucial component of our emotions in that it keeps us in check. It's beneficial and detrimental as you said depending on how one harnesses it. Now it's about choosing the right fear like someone has commented. Fear was beneficial to you in this situation in that you chose the fear of not being able to outrun the dog 🐕 which would have caused more severe consequences over the fear of not being able to confront it. Truly, our choices matters.

More grease to your elbow 💪
